the last things...

I took advantage of the long weekend because of the holiday and went over Ausbruch with the polishing cloth.

After almost 100 days of project length with some tough passages, it felt very good.

Shortly before the summer holidays I couldn't take it anymore and started working on the game.

Although the Playdate wasn't there yet and I actually didn't want to develop it until I could hold it in my hands.

Everything was new to me! New Lua, new hardware :-)

I don't know how it came about, but now Ausbruch is in the starting blocks for release!

It was great fun!

And I applaud this love of games and the playfulness and attention to detail and elegance of Panic with their little Playdate universe!

Just because they're so cool, I suggested Ausbruch as a catalog game :-)

Ausbruch will be released here on October 5th, 2023, just after the Playdate Community Direct show!

I'm looking forward to it!
