Crafting madness has broken out again!
After I had delivered a few customer games,
I had to realize that I had probably always continued a little bit in the tedious parts.
Suddenly almost all the dogs were animated.
In the map document I found thousands of small location points and a hierarchical order and structure.
In short, I had a lot of hard work spread over the last few months. And the path to starting the simulation loop became shorter.
I have now created all the views in the last few days. I have all the dogs. With the help of generative AI, I was able to parse the XML/node structure of the Illustrator document with the many points and clusters and convert it into a multidimensional array with only the x,y coordinates and retain the hierarchy. In seconds and not days, if I had done it manually...
So now I have a narrow data model for walks and scent marks etc...
There is now time and day/night render of the map.
Now I'm really at the point of working out the simulation.
I've created all the elements to operate and observe the simulation.
The data model is in place.
Now it's getting exciting!!!!!
